Recently, the Heilongjiang Health Commission has decided to strictly inspect the procurement of medical equipment in public hospitals throughout the province from this month to October. According to the announcement, the scope of the special rectification work for medical equipment procurement is divided into two directions: first, the provincial health commission, and second, medical institutions under the provincial health commission.
The report content is divided into four key links. Compared to other special rectification measures that focus on hospital bidding and procurement, kickbacks, and sales with gold, this announcement takes into account the approval of medical equipment procurement projects and subsequent service links, and has been clearly strengthened and highlighted.
For the approval process of medical equipment procurement projects in public hospitals, the Notice puts forward three major reporting priorities:
- the use of medical equipment configuration permit approval rights to seek benefits;
- imported medical equipment and instruments procurement assessment and approval rights to seek benefits;

Since the issuance of provincial documents, local health commissions have intensified their follow-up and further clarified the scope of this report, and a large number of public hospital lists have been announced.
