Supervision Measures on Epidural Catheter Ruptures
On July 16, 2020, CMDE released an article about the analysis of supervision measures on epidural catheter ruptures (ECR). According to this article, the skills and experience of the operators may be a main reason causing ECR in China. Therefore, three measures are suggested to be taken: 1) tighten the production quality control; 2) strengthen the supervision of labels and IFU (instruction for use); 3) increase more training to operators and strengthen the regulatory surveillance.
