Previously, the Anhui Provincial Healthcare Security Administration , Health Commission, and Medical Product Administration jointly issued a notice on adjusting the centralized procurement catalog of large-scale medical equipment in the province.

In March 2023, the National Health Commission released the Catalogue for the Administration of Large Medical Equipment Configuration License (2023), actively promoting the change from Class A to Class B or the removal of Class B from the catalog, further reducing the difficulty of medical institutions in configuring large medical equipment. In addition, more and more large medical equipment will be included in the scope of centralized procurement, and the overall price is showing a downward trend.
Earlier, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture had already centralized procurement at the state level and organized experts to directly enter the factory for negotiations on medical equipment such as MRI, CT, DR, and color ultrasound with large procurement volumes. By canceling the intermediary links of agents, the purchase price is directly offset against the factory price, and the average reduction in medical equipment procurement costs alone is 68%!
That is to say, the “one ticket system” for purchasing large medical equipment has also been implemented!
