Further Implementation Notice on the First Batch of UDI

On September 30, 2020, NMPA, National Health Commission and National Healthcare Security Administration have made further provisions on the trial implementation of the first batch of UDI. For example, the first batch of implementation time will be adjusted from October 1, 2020 to January 1, 2021 after the trial. At the same time, five high-risk Class III medical devices are included in the range of the first batch of UDI products.
