Blockbuster! The first approved vascular interventional surgical robot in China

It has been recently learned that according to the notice of the NMPA, the “Cerebrovascular Interventional Surgery Auxiliary Operating System” of Endo Medical, the holding subsidiary of Beijing Vas Medical, has been approved by NMPA, and the registration certificate number is National Instrument Registration Permit 20233010311. 

The “Cerebrovascular Interventional Surgery Auxiliary operating System” (robot) independently developed by Endo Hebei Robot Technology Co., Ltd. has officially passed the examination of Class three medical devices by the NMPA.，becoming the first approved vascular interventional surgery robot in China and the first approved neurovascular interventional surgery robot in the world. The system is named “VAS HERO vascular Interventional Surgical robot”. The overall design adopts a master-slave structure. The doctor-controlled master console is placed in the control room to realize compartment operation, and the slave robot beside the bed simulates manual control of catheter, guide wire and other instruments to deliver and twist, which greatly improves the convenience of surgery.
