On January 10, the NMPA issued the Announcement on Approving the Registration of 339 Medical Device Products (December 2022) (No. 4, 2023).
A total of 339 medical device products were approved and registered by the NMPA in December 2022, according to the announcement. Among them, 273 are of the Class III domestic medical devices, 37 are of the Class III imported medical devices, 25 are of the Class II imported medical devices, and 4 are of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan medical devices.
Products approved in December include: medical angiography X-ray machines from United Imaging; X-ray computed tomography equipment from Philips, Siemens and Kuanteng; colour Doppler ultrasound diagnostic systems from Midray; and single-use pressure-monitoring magnetic positioning radiofrequency ablation catheters from Shanghai Microport …
